Point GerombongLocated further along Tulamben’s coast, P. Gerombong offers a calm black-sand slope scattered with coral patches, sponges, and rocky formations that create a comfortable environment for relaxed exploration. This site is well-known among macro enthusiasts, with regular sightings of nudibranchs, frogfish, cuttlefish, and other small critters hiding close to the sand.
Occasional schooling fish and natural sunlight across the slope can also give pleasant wide-angle moments, though the real highlight remains the search for the tiny and unusual. Easy shore access and mild conditions make it an enjoyable dive for all levels especially photographers wanting time to focus on composition. A peaceful macro dive where patient eyes are always rewarded with new discoveries. |
